Are you angry? We are! Arts education throughout the country is at risk. Creative voices of the future silenced. The arts are in grave danger. The arts are under threat. We will no longer stay quiet. 

 

Join us for a three-week performing arts festival, showcasing the quantity of talent and passion here at LJMU. Whether you want to cry, laugh or sing your heart out, we’ll take you on a journey through space, travel back to the 60s, fly you across the Atlantic to the big apple, and even bring you back home for a Northern comedy and a chance to meet a talking vagina. Whether you prefer to witness a gritty drama, a laugh out loud comedy, a sing along musical or simply just a light-hearted show, we have something for everyone. This is only just a glimpse of what's to come. 

 

This festival is created by LJMU’s third year Drama students, who share a passion for the arts. In a few months time, we will all be leaving University and heading out into the industry, and we want to enter it with a bang!

We welcome everyone, whether the arts are in your blood, or you’ve never been to a performance. We need you! So come along and be in the room where it happens as we celebrate our talent. Join us in raising our voices in Uproar!
